بالإضافة إلى ذلك فإن أعمال جبران لم تتجاوز حدود الزمن فحسب بل تجاوزت حدود المكان أيضاً .فهي اليوم مقروءة في جميع بقاع الأرض بعد أن تمت ترجمتها إلى معظم لغات العالم. تتألف بنية الأدب الجبراني من مزيج من العناصر الرومانسية والواقعية والصوفية والثورية والحداثية، التي استطاع جبران أن يؤالف بينها في توليفة سحرية، لا تأتي إلا لمبدع كبير حقاً. فأدبه رومانسي وواقعي وصوفي وثوري وحداثي في الوقت نفسه، ويعتبر من سر النكهة الخاصة التي تمنح أعمال جبران فرادتها وخصوصيتها فهو يعرف كيف تنجدل خيوط العناصر وتتفاعل فيما بينها لتتماهى في النسيج الأدبي لنصوصه.
والكتاب الذي بين يدينا يحتوي على عرض خطّه الشاعر الدكتور نزار بريك هنيدي تحت عنوان "مدخل إلى أدب جبران" تحدث فيه عن سيرة جبران الذاتية من ثم سعى إلى تحليل أدب جبران حيث توقف عند عوامل التكوين في أدب جبران، بنية الأدب الجبراني، رومانسيات جبران وواقعيته. بعد هذا العرض قام بإثبات مجموعة من أهم أعمال جبران حملت العناوبن التالية: عرائس المروج، الأرواح المتمردة، الأجنحة المتكسرة، دمعة وابتسامة، العواطف، البدائع والطرائف.
