في "صباحيّات" تصف الكاتبة حياة سيّدة المنزل وطريقة تفكيرها بالأمور الحياتيّة بشكل مثير للشفقة أحياناً وللضحك أحياناً أخرى، أمّا "هكذا دواليك" فهّي ملخّصٌ لحياة العائلات الشرقيّة بشكلٍ عامّ في عالمنا المعاصر.
في "زمن كشف" تتطور الشخصيّة لتصبح أكثر ديناميكيّة وحركة، إنّما أكثر هموماً ومسوؤليّة، تصبح فيها البطلة مستقلةً تماماً وسيّدة نفسها، وسرعان ما تكتشف بأنّها لن تصبح يوماً سيّدة الموقف، نظراً لإرتباط ذلك بظروف عديدة لا تستطيع السيطرة عليها، إلى أن يأتي اليوم الذي تنهي فيه رحلتها الحياتيّة في "طريق العودة" بشكل رصينٍ ومتفائل.
يتخلل المجموعة العديد من الآراء والأفكار التي تؤمن بها الكاتبة، والتي تقوم بطرحها للقارئ بإسقاطاتٍ ونفحاتٍ أدبيّةٍ مميّزة على شكل "ستاتس"، مجاربةً بذلك الحداثة وأسلوب العصر.
