Book Description
المصنف هو عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد بن قدامة المقدسي، ثم الدمشقي الصالحي، الفقيه. الزاهد الإمام، شيخ الإسلام وأحد الأعلام ولد سنة 541. وكان إماماً في الفقه خصّه الله بعلم كثير، فأخذ بمجامع الحقائق النقلية والعقلية. فأما الحديث فهو سابق فرسانه، وأم الفقه فهو فارس ميدانه، وكان أعرف الناس بالفتيا، وله مؤلفات غزيرة. وذكر الناصح بن الحنبلي انه حج سنة أربع وسبعين، ورجع مع وفد العراق إلى بغداد، وأقام بها سنة فسمع درس ابن المغنى الحنبلي، ثم رجع إلى دمشق واشتغل بتصنيف كتاب "المغني" الذي نقلب صفحاته، وهو كتاب بليغ في المذهب الحنبلي تعب عليه وأجاد. وأرداه المصنف أن يكون في فقه المسلمين كافة، فهو يذكر أقوال علماء الصحابة والتابعين وعلماء الأمصار المشهورين، كالأئمة المتبوعين، ويحكي أدلة كل منهم، وإذا رجع مذهب الحنابلة في كثير من المسائل فهو لا ينتقص غيرهم، ولا يحمله التعصب على كتمان شيء من أدلتهم، ولا على تكلف الطعن فيها كما يفعل أهل الجمود من المقلدين.
والكتاب هام في بابه إذ أنه لخّص مذاهب فقهاء المسلمين المجتهدين، بأدلتها في أمهات الأحكام ومهمات المسائل فأغنى الباحث عن مراجعة كتب المذاهب الكثيرة فيما يحتاج إلى الوقوف عليه منها، وعن مراجعة كتب السنن والآثار لمعرفة أدلتها ومذاهب الصحابة والتابعين ومسائل الإجماع والخلاف.
وزيادة في فائدة تم تذييل هذه الطبعة من كتاب "المغني" بمتن "الشرح الكبير" لأبي عمر بن أحمد بن قدامة المقدسي والذي هو عبارة عن متن تم وضعه على متن "المقنع" لابن قدامة المقدسي وهذا المصنف الأخير متقدم على ابن قدامه صاحب الشرح الكبير وهو نفسه صاحب كتاب المغني.
