ومن هنا كانت الحاجة ماسة لإعتماد الأنظمة والأساليب المحاسبية المتطوِّرة والتي أسست لها وزارة المالية وبالتنسيق مع نقابة خبراء المحاسبة وأصدرت العديد من التشريعات، تضمن إعتماد الأنظمة المحاسبية الموجودة والمرتكزة على مبادئ محاسبية دولية، والتي تحقق الركائز الفنية والعملية لتلك المبادئ، وتؤمِّن تطبيقها، للإستفادة القصوى منها على الصعيدين الإقتصادي والمهني، ومواكبة تطوُّرات العصر، وبما لا يتعارض مع المصالح الوطنية للبلاد.
