لم تعد اللسانيات ذلك العلم الذي ينعزل في مختبراته بعيداً عن تدفق الحياة اللغوية. لم تعد علماً مخبرياً يعتمد المناويل اللغوية بمعزل عن صخب العلوم "الصلبة"، فقد تجاورت وإياها تجاور الترافد في نطاق "العلوم المعرفية". لقد نهضت الجامعات الغربية باعتماد المقاربات متعددة الاختصاصات، فتجد المصنف الواحد يتعاضد على صناعته اللساني والرياضي والفيزيائي والمعلوماتي والمنطقي.
وهذا الكتاب المترجم إلى العربية حمل عنوان التداولية في أوستين إلى غوفمان، دونه باحث فرنسي يدعة فيليب بلانشيه متتبعاً فيه تاريخ التداولية من أوستن إلى غوفمان متوقفاً عند كل من العناوين التالية: البلاغة الكلاسيكية، برتراند رسل، نظريات العلامة، الحياة الاجتماعية والتواصل، شجرة الأعمال اللاقولية، الاستعارة والمجاز المرسل عند ياكبسن، علم الاجتماع وشروط النجاح، الهبة ومبدأ القطع في الأنثروبولوجيا، مدرسة شيكاغو، بعض المفاهيم المفاتيح في علم الاجتماع اللساني، افتراض سابير ووورف، أصناف الدلالة لغرايس.
ليست التداولية "حقلاً فرعياً" يحدد موضوعَ دراسةٍ جديداً. إنّها "مقاربة" مستجدّة، تتأسّس على تعدّدية منهجية (ذهاب وإياب استنتاجيّ/ تأليف) لكامل الحقل. ونتبيّن من خلال مفهوم التواصل أنّ موضوع التداولية هو الإنسان نفسه وهو يباشر أدواره الاجتماعية. وفي إعادة صياغة أخيرة نقول إن "المقاربة التداولية" هي "علم المواضع السياقيّ" فهي "علم المواضع" أي "وجهة نظر": "اقتراب" له جانب "الخطوة الأولى، الابتعاد" وهو غير ملائم. وهي "سياقية" لأنّ مفهوم السياق هو أحسن ما يسم هذه الطوبيقا. و"التداولية" ليست تسمية جيّدةً. إنها كلمة فضفاضة جرى في الاستعمال الفرنكوفوني لها أنها تعني دلالات ومعانيَ بعيدة جداً مما هو مقصود ههنا.
