تم عرض الكتاب من خلال بابين، الباب الأول ويشمل التخطيط الإداري، والذي يعتبر من أهم المراحل العملية الإدارية، أي الأساس الذي تعتمد عليه جميع مراحل العملية الإدارية وإنتظام سيرها، ومن ثم التطرق إلى تخطيط الموارد البشرية ودورها في تحديد أعداد ونوعيات العمالة المطلوبة خلال فترة الخطة، والتعرف على تخطيط إستراتيجيات المزيج التسويقي والمبيعات التي تشملان المنتج والتسعير والتوزيع والترويج، وجميع عمليات البيع والطرق المستخدمة التي تستخدم بتعاون مع العاملين في المنظمة.
أما الباب الثاني فيشمل التطوير الإداري والذي يعتبر من أهم أساليب العمل الذي يساعد على تحسين وتطوير وتدريب وتنمية الروح الجماعية في الجهاز الإداري، ومن خلال هذا الباب تم عرض موضوع التحفيز في الإدارة والتي تشمل مجموعة دوافع التي تدفعنا لعمل شيء ما يساعد على إنجاح العملية الإدارية، وذلك بالتعاون مع الموظفين الذين يصممون البرامج المتعلقة بالحوافز وكيفية إدارتها، ومن ثم التطرق إلى إدارة التطوير والتغيير الإداري واللذان يعتبران مهمين على مستوى التنظيم ككل.
ومن ثم التعرف على برامج تطوير والتدريب الإداري واللذان يساعد الموظفين لتهيئة أنفسهم لمراكز مستقبلية في المؤسسة وتصميم العمل وزيادة فعالية أداء الموظفين الحالية، وأخيراً تم التطرق في الباب الثاني إلى موضوع مهم جداً وهو "الإصلاح الإداري في الدول العربية" الذي يشمل عمليات إصلاح سياسي وإقتصادي وإجتماعي وإداري.
