في جديدها "دماغ مليئ بالأحذية" تحيل "زينب بنت صالح الهذال" إلى حالة حياتية صارخة، تقتنص من خلالها لحظات أو مشاهد من زمن عصي على الفهم في محاولة لإعادة صوغ الواقع أو عكسه أو محاكاته؛ هذا الواقع الذي لا نستطيع رؤيته من حيث أنه المتواري والمختبئ وراء سور المجتمع فتتجاوزه الهذال" وصولاً إلى آخر نقطة لا لتقول لنا ماذا يحدث في الداخل، بل لتترك الباب موارباً ما يتيح لقارئها حرية قراءة المشهد.
تحت عنوان (حنين) تكتب زينب الهذال: "آثار حرب.. أشلاء.. وكرامات مهدرة.. عيون تسترق النظر لأنقاض جدارٍ كتب عليه (سفاح وحفيد دكتاتور مرَ من هنا).
والمجموعة تتشكل من إحدى وخمسون نصاً ابداعياً، كل عنوان فيها يحتاج إلى وقفة خاصة، وكأن الكاتبة تضع القارئ على أول العتبة وتبتعد ليقرأها كيفما يشاء هو من أول السطر، من عناوين النصوص نذكر: "يا لغة الصمت"، "حقيقة"، "مشاركة"، "لعب محظور"، "عمياء"، "فاجعة"، وصاية"، "في جيبك يا غبي!!"، "أجيال"... الخ.
