يبدأ هذا الكتاب الرحلة من أولها حيث يفترض أن أمامك جهاز كمبيوتر وتريد استعماله من خلال خطوات مبسطة بأسرع وقت ممكن بهدف استخدامه واستثماره للحصول عائد مادي ومعنوي لتحقيق مستقبل أفضل في البيت والعمل والحياة. بالانتهاء من هذا الكتاب الأول من السلسلة ستصبح ماهراً باستخدام الكمبيوتر في الموضوعات التالية : مقدمة عن الكمبيوتر وفيه مفاهيم أساسية بالإضافة إلى الأنواع المختلفة لأجهزة الكمبيوتر وكذلك المكونات الرئيسية ، والملحقات.ثم (برنامج الموافذ) وفيه الموضوعات التالية (مقدمة عامة عن ويندوز ، التعامل مع الفأرة ، خطوات تشغيل الكمبيوتر الشخصي لأول مرة ببرنامج النوافذ ويندوز ، برنامج المستكشف وإمكانياته ، مشغلات الجهاز ، الفهارس ، الملفات ، نسخ الملفات ، مسح الملفات ، البرامج الملحقة ، استعمال لوحة المفاتيح ، تشغيل برنامج Word Pad واستخدام إمكانات البرنامج ، حفظ واسترجاع الرسائل ، تشغيل يرنامج الرسام). وبعدها نجد (أساسيات برنامج Ms Word) ويحتوي على (خطوات تشغيل البرنامج ، تغيير لغة تكبير وتغيير الخطوط وكتابة نصوص عربية بها كلمات انكليزية والعكس ، حفظ واسترجاع المستندات وطباعتها مع تصميم الجداول) أما الموضوع الأخير فهو (المهارات المتقدمة لبرنامج power point) وفيه المواضيع التالية (فائدة العروض والغرض منها - خطوات تشغيل البرنامج - التعديل في الشريحة - إضافة شريحة جديدة - تشغيل العرض كاملاً - إضافة صورة - إضافة قطع فيلمية - إضافة الحركة على النصوص والصور - إضافة حركة على الشرائح - ضبط زمن عرض الشرائح - إضافة أزرار لتنظيم العرض)
