رينيه كارل فيلهلم يوهان يوزيف ماريا رايلكه الشهير بـ راينر ماريا رايلكه (4 ديسمبر 1875 - 29 ديسمبر 1926) شاعر نمساوي - بوهيمي/ رومانسي / حداثي، ويعد واحدًا من أكثر شعراء الألمانية تميزًا. ركّز في شعره على صعوبة التواصل في عصر الكفر والعزلة والقلق العميق، وهي المواضيع التي وضعته كشخصية انتقالية بين الشعر التقليدي وشعر الحداثة.
أشهر أعماله بين قراء الإنجليزية هي "مرثيات دوينو" (بالإنجليزية: Duino Elegies )؛ أما أشهر أعماله النثرية فهما "رسائل إلى شاعر شاب" (بالإنجليزية: Letters to a Young Poet ) والسيرة شبه الذاتية "مفكرات مالتي لوريدس بريجي" (بالإنجليزية: The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge ). كما كتب أكثر من 400 قصيدة بالفرنسية، في حب موطنه الذي اختاره في كانتون فاليز في سويسرا.
يسمُّونه الشاعر الذي قتلتْه وردة!؛ ففي أحد صباحات تشرين الأول من العام 1926، خرج ريلكه إلى حديقة مقرِّه السويسري لكي يقطف، كعادته، بعض ورودها. لم يكترث عندما جَرَحَتْ يدَه إحدى الأشواك، ولم يَخَفْ حين ظهرت لديه في المرحلة نفسها بوادر اللوكيميا. استسلم بعد أقل من شهرين ووافته المنية.

لم يكن راينر ماريا ريكله متكيفاً وحقبتنا. ولم يفعل هذا الشاعر الغنائي الكبير سوى أن قاد الشعر الألماني إلى الكمال لأول مرة في تاريخه. لم يكن إحدى ذرى عصرنا هذا، بل واحداً من تلك الأعالي التي يسير عليها مصير الفكر الإنساني من عصر إلى عصر. إنه ينتمي إلى السيرورة الطويلة الأمد للتراث الألماني لا إلى راهنه... ولا يحتاج المعنى (في أبيات ريلكه)، حتى ينمو، إلى الاحتماء بجدار آية أيديولوجية، ولا أية نزعة إنسانوية، ولا أي نظام فكري، بل هو ينبثق بلا دعامة، من أية جهة كانت، معلقاً هكذا، ومعهوداً به دوماً، وبمنتهى التحرر، إلى حركة الفكر.
وهذا الجزء الثاني من ترجمة المجموعات الشّعريّة الكاملة التي أصدرها بالألمانيّة الشّاعر النّمساويّ راينر ماريا ريلكه Rainer Maria Rilka (1875-1926) وأشرف على طبعها بنفسه.
نقرأ له: "كائناً من تكنِ، اخرُجْ في السماء... أُخرج من حُجرتكَ هذه التي تعرفُ فيها كل شيء، منزُلك هو الأخيرُ قبلَ بدايةِ العراء... كائناً من تكن... بعينيكَ المُجهدتين الطّامحتَين... إلا الإنعتاق من تلَف العتَبة... سَتُطِلعُ أنت بعناءٍ وبطءٍ شجرةً سوداء... تغرسها أمامَ السماء: نحيفةً ووحيدة... وتكون صنعت العالَم... ولسوف يكون كبيراً... كَمُفردةٍ ما برحَتْ تيْنع في الصّمت... وما إنْ تقبضُ إرادتك على معناها... حتى تنفصلُ عنها عيناكَ بِرفْقٍ...
