كتاب "العلاج بالنبات في القرآن الكريم" يطمح المؤلف من خلاله إلى إيصال رسالة القرآن الكريم الطبية التي هي مبثوثة في آياته. والتي فيها دعوة للإنسان إلى العودة إلى ما أنعم الله سبحانه به عليه من نباتات تؤمن له العلاج الكافي لكثير من أمراضه قديماً وحتى حديثاً. وجاءت منهجية المؤلف على الشكل التالي: يورد المؤلف وبالترتيب الأبجدي النباتات المذكورة في آيات القرآن الكريم، مبيناً أماكن وجود النبات وشكله (إن كان غريباً) ومعدداً الآيات التي ذكر فيها اسمه في القرآن الكريم، أو في الأحاديث النبوية أو في الآثار (ما ورد عن الصحابة)، منتقلاً من ثم إلى شرح فائدته الطبية بشكل علمي موضوعي ومبيناً المادة التي يتركب منها هذا النبات، وثم الأمراض التي يمكن معالجتها أو الوقاية منها من خلال تناوله وطريقة تناوله. وهذه أسماء النباتات التي تمّ تناولها في هذا الكتاب وهي: الأثل، البقل، البصل، التمر، التين، الثمرة، الثوم، الحب، الخردل، الحفط، الرمان، الريحان، الزنجبيل، الزيتون، الساق، السدر، السنبلة، الطلح، العدس، العنب، الفاكهة، الثقاء، الكافور، النبان، النوى، الورد، الورقة، اليقطين.
