في جديدها الأدبي "متحف الأشياء والكائنات" تبدو سمر دياب أكثر اهتماماً بنقل الكتابة الشعرية من سريرتها الخطية التدوينية إلى واقعية ووقائعية تتناوعها موجهات الذاكرة وقوى التخييل اللتين ترتبطان بقوانين الحداثة الشعرية في أقصى تخليقاتها، وهنا تسعى الشاعرة إلى ردم الفجوات الزمنية والمعرفية لتؤسس شعري نصوصها على نسق لغوي مختلف، خارج حدود النمط المألوف والذي لا يرتبط بقاموس حياتي محسوس، بل يذهب بعيداً نحو العلاقة الخفية بين المعقول واللامعقول، حتى لتكاد تتحول الكتابة عندها إلى خانة تراجيدية مرة، ورمزية غرائبية حلمية مرة أخرى.
تحت عنوان (الناحية) نقرأ للشاعرة سمر دياب: "توقفت ساعة الحائط/ توقف المفتاح في ثقب الباب/ توقف الكوكب عن الدوران/ توقف الأطفال عن الموت/ توقفت عن الإيمان بالكائنات الفضائية/ توقف الكعب العالي عن الطقطقة/ توقفت الطاولة عن الحلم بأمَها الشجرة/ توقفت العربات في منتصف الطريق/ توقف الدماغ عن بثَ صور إباحية للجنود النائمين/ (...)/ توقفت الحياة/ فقط دودة تزحف هنا وهناك/ سعيدة بما استطاعت جمعه للموتى المتضوَرين جوعاً". وبهذا تبدو حساسية نزع المعاني عن العالم الشغل الشاغل لرؤية شعرية خاصة استطاعت ببراعة نقل الواقع إلى الشعر، وليس العكس.
