كتاب في علم الصيدلة لأبي الريحان البيروتي، قام فيه بشرح أنواع الأدوية والعقاقير، حيث قسم العقاقير إلى ثلاثة أنواع: الأدوية، الأغذية، السموم، ثم شرح أنواع الأدوية التي قسمها إلى نوعين: الأدوية المفردة، والأدوية المركبة، ثم شرح دور الصيدلي في تركيب الأدوية أما حذفا لأحد العناصر أو إبدال عنصر مكان الآخر حرصاً على توفير الدواء الممكن لعلاج المريض.
ثم تحدث عن مآثر اللغة العربية وقدرتها على التعبير عن سائر الأفكار والعلوم ثم تناول بالشرح أهم الطرائق للحصول على العلوم والمعارف من منابعها الأصلية، وأهمية معروفة لغات عديدة، وذلك للحرص على إستخدام العقار الصحيح.
ويجدر الإشارة أن هذا الكتاب قد جاء باللغة الفارسية، حيث عمل الأستاذ زرياب على تصحيحه وتنقيحه.
