مؤلف "كرة الثلج" واحد من الكتاب الصهاينة، حاول بخبث أن يسرد عدداً من الوقائع في غلاف موضوعي سرعان ما يتمزق ليظهر على حقيقته الصهيونية، فيدس سمومه الهادفة إلى تمرير اللعبة القذرة ليقع فريستها السذج والبسطاء من الناس.
فهو يحاول أن يكشف دور من اختار من العملاء للكيان الصهيوني بقصد الانتقال من التخصيص إلى التعميم فيوهم أن طائفة بكاملها في لبنان مرتهنة لإدارة "إسرائيل" متفاوتة معها، في حين أن الوقائع على الأرض تشهد أن العمالة ليست وقفاً على طائفة أو مذهب، بل هي حالة شاذة نادرة تعيش في النفوس المريضة المهتزة دون أن تتوقف عند حدود الدين أو المذهب.
قد عمد كميل داغر إلى هذه الترجمة ليؤكد على أن المتعاملين مع "إسرائيل" كعدد تاريخي للعرب كافة وللبنان بخاصة، فاتهم أن يفهموا بأن العدو لن يعمل إلاّ لاستخدامها من أجل تحقيق مكاسبه هو، وعندما ينتهي دورهم وتستنفذ أغراضهم، يقذفهم عراة أذلاء ليحاسبهم الشعب والتاريخ.
لقد حاول المؤلف "شيمون شيفر" أن يظهر الوجه "الإنساني" للكيان الصهيوني الحريص على الدفاع عن المظلومين، غير أن أمره انكشف سريعاً، وظهر هذا الكيان الذي قام على الاغتتصاب على حقيقيته بنزعته العدوانية التوسعية الطامعة بالأرض اللبنانية لا بتحقيق "الأمن للجليل" كما ادّعى.
