على الرغم من أن (القاطر) هو الإصدار الشعري الأول لمؤلفه "عبد الله الساكتي" إلا أنه استطاع أن ينجز عبره كتابةً حرّةً، تُقرأ بالحواس/ فيها إلى جانب التأمل والإحساس العميق بالبشر؛ فيها أيضاً الإحساس بالذات العاشقة، وقد صاغها شاعرنا الساكتي بلغة استطاعت حمل حساسية التجربة إلى النص المكتوب، فنجح في صنع حوائه من مادة إسمها "الشعر" وفي طقوس شعرية خاصة به، وهو ما تجلى واضحاً في مفرداته وتراكيبه، فوصفها وصفاً أنثوياً رائعاً، ولكن من دون أن يتخلى عن شرقيته في الحب والغزل.
يقول الشاعر: "أحلم بأنني / تٌسرق مني ابتهالات الصفاء / وأسرقُ من مقلتيها تسابيح الغرام / تصرخُ / بملىء فيها / ثائرةً كالبركان / أحبك فضاء / تاه في مداراته". وفي قصيدة أخرى يقول: "أبحثُ عنها / بين أهداب حروفي / وبين معطف قصيدتي / أخطبها شعراً ببحر فوق ناصية شفتيها / أبحث عنها خلف أستار خجلها / وفوق نعش عينيها، / لألقاها نهراً يشقّ صدري / وحرفاً ينبضُ به قلمي!".
بهذا الحس الشاعري العميق تتحرك قصائد المجموعة في نزوع واضح نحو استدعاء لغة الحواس في ثيمات من الصور المتلاحقة في حركة دائرية تتفق مع قول الشاعر "هايدغر": الذي يرى السماء فضاءً إنكشافياً مفتوحاً، وفي الأرض فضاء العتمة". لكن المرأة بوصفها كائناً إنسانياً متحققاً في قصائد الشاعر عبد الله الساكتي تظل هي الأساس وهي عالم الشاعر الذي لا يتحقق وجوده إلا من خلالها.
