يأتي هذا الكتاب على سيرة بني الله "موسى" عليه السلام، بهدف دحض الأقاويل والخرافات التوراتية والإسرائيلية وإظهار الحقيقة النبوية كما جاءت في القرآن الكريم.
وفي هذا الكتاب يتتبع الكاتب مسيرة حياة النبي موسى عليه السلام يوماً بيوم ويقارن النص التوراتي بالنص القرآني ليقدم للقارئ الحقائق الثابتة التي لا تنازع العقل والمنطق ولا التحليل العقلي والمنطقي. يقول الكاتب: "... إن ما يهمنا في هذا البحث كشف حقيقة التأليف التوراتي وعدم تدخل اليد الإلهية فيه، وما دام الأمر كذلك فإن شخصية النبي موسى عليه السلام وعلاقته ببني إسرائيل هي علاقة سيئة إلى أقصى درجات السوء. وهذا ما سنكتشفه عندما نضع نصوص التوراة تحت الضوء وفي المقياس المنطقي العقلاني الذي نجده في القرآن الكريم".
إن ما يميز هذا الكتاب عن غيره ممن تناول سيرة اليهود أن غالبية الباحثين وقعوا في فخ النص التوراتي دون أن يتدبروا النص القرآني ليروا أن ما قالته التوراة ليس سوى خرافات وأوهام "كتبها عزرا الكاتب وعدَل فيها المنقحون الكتبة من فرنسيين وتلموذيين فزادوا التشويه تشويهاً والكذب كذباً، والأوهام أوهاماً".
يقسم الكاتب بحثه إلى مقدمة وثمان فصول تتناول محطات مفصلية في حياة موسى النبي، وهي: مقدمة في مفهوم النبوةـ الفصل الأول النبي موسى من الولادة حتى الشباب والهروب إلى مدين، الفصل الثاني: موسى وفرعون، صراع التوحيد مع الوثنية، الفصل الثالث: موسى في سيناء. الوحي والتشريع والصراع مع بني إسرائيل، الفصل الرابع: موسى فس التراث اليهودي والمسيحي، الفصل الخامس: النبي موسى في نهاية المطاف، الفصل السادس: النبي موسى بأقلام الباحثين، الفصل السابع: النبي موسى في الحديث النبوي والتراث الإسلامي والإسرائيليات. وأخيراً: خاتمة.
