العنوان جزء لا يتجزأ من استراتيجية الكتابة لدى القاص لاصطياد القارئ، وإشراكه في لعبة القراءة، ومن ثم محاولة فهم النص، وتفسيره، وتأويله، وهو ما يقوم به محمد المزيني في وضوح تام عبر (شهوات) يخاطب بها امرأة ما: تكرهين الحياة، لأنك لا تجدين فيها نفسك، وتعشقين نفسك لأنك؛ تجدينه فيها" بهذا المفتتح النصي يبدأ محمد المزيني قصصه القصيرة هذه التي تدل على باطن النص ومحتواه، وبهذا المعنى يكون النص قد تشكل وفق ثيمة "الجسد" عابراً بذلك كاتبها حدود الخطوط الحمراء، التي تشكل دائرة الممنوع في الثقافة السائدة، متمادياً في توصيف الرغبة وانثيالاتها، وهو ما يقع عليه القارئ في كافة نصوص العمل التي تشكلت في بناء متصاعد من الحس الإيروسي وفي مشهدية حيّة، يقول في "أمشاج" : ملحة شمس ورغيفها قمر .. جسداهما أمشاج طين، تنبر تحت وابل من لهاث .. تماوجاً .. تلوناً .. نبت له ريش وتخلقت أجنحة .. تصيرت أعينهما زجاجاً وجسديهما ماءً .. تبخرا ...".
