القرآن الكريم هو ربيع قلب المؤمن، في رحابه تطمئن نفسه، وتسمو روحه، وثمر عقله. إلا أن المسلمين غفلوا في يومنا هذا عن ذاتك، وتركوا قرآنهم مهجوراً. من هنا جاءت فكرة هذا الكتاب بغية توعية وإفادة الشباب المسلم الذي بات لا يعرف الكثير عن القرآن الكريم، مع حاجته الماسة إلى معرفته بحكم كونهم مسلمين يتبعون ما جاء في الشريعة المقدسة من أحكام وسنن.
والكتاب "القرآن ربيع القلوب وشفاء الصدور" إنما هو بمثابة رسالة مختصرة في فضل القرآن الكريم، وتعليمه، وقراءته، والاستماع إليه، وذلك بيان المسائل الإعرابية فيه والخصائص اللغوية، وقواعد التجويد، وآداب وأحكام تعلمه وتعليمه، وبيان النواحي الاستشفائية منه، والكشف عن الفوائد الأخروية كما الدنيوية. وقد تمّ تفصيل ذلك ضمن فصول سبعة جاءت على النحو التالي: فضل القرآن بما في ذلك طرد الشيطان من البيت بفضله، الاستشفاء والنجاة من الفتن بفضل آياته، والاتعاظ بالقرآن الكريم من خلال سير الأمم السابقة. أما الفصل الثاني فقد دار حول تعليم القرآن الكريم وتعلمه (تعليمه للأولاد، لكل عشر آيات، حفظ القرآن الكريم...). وتم الحديث في الفصل الثالث عن آداب قراءة القرآن الكريم، وأصناف قراءته، وحول الاستماع إلى القرآن الكريم وحملته جاء الفصلان الرابع والخامس، وتمّ تخصيص الفصل السادس لخواص واستحباب قراءة وكتابة السور القرآنية. وأخيرً حمل الفصل السابع أقوالاً ومجربات في فوائد بعض السور والآيات القرآنية.
