إن توحيد هذه الكتب الثلاثة في كتاب واحد يعكس مسار الأحداث التاريخية الهائلة التي رافقت الإحتلال الأمريكي للعراق وسقوط الدكتاتورية الصدامية، فكلاهما وجهان لظاهرة واحدة، ألا وهي إفتقاد العراق أو تفريغه من تاريخه الذاتي الخاص.
فقد كانت المرحلة السابقة للغزو الأمريكي للعراق سبيكة خربة من توتاليتارية متخلفة ودكتاتورية "متطورة" أدت إلى جعل العراق شرنقة ميتة أو كيان مغلق لا إحتمال فيه لغير تكرار الزمن وإجترار ما فيه.
من هنا، كانت الأشياء والأحداث وكل ما يمكنه الحدوث "معلوما" مسبقاً، ذلك يعني أن العراق بلا مستقبل، وقد برزت هذه الظاهرة بجلاء بعد سقوط الدكتاتورية بلحظات! لقد وقف العراق عارياً أمام العالم، وكشف عن أنه مجرد جوزة جوفاء منخورة لا لب فيها!...
إن هذه النتيجة المخزية، والمهانة الوطنية والقومية التي تعرض لها العراق بفعل الإحتلال كشفاً عن أنه كيان بلا معاصرة، وأنه مجرد زمن بلا تاريخ، كما كشف عن أن الرهان عليه مهمة المستقبل، وأن حقيقة المشاريع المحتملة لإنقاذه من هذا المأزق التاريخي ينبغي إستمدادها من المستقبل.
وفي هذه الوحدة (شرعية المشروع ومشروع الشرعية) يكمن المضمون التاريخي الفعلي للمستقبل العراقي، الذي حاولت التأسيس له فيّ كل مفاصل وعقد الوجود العراقي، وإذا كانت عناوينه الفرعية أقرب ما تكون إلى (فلسفة المعاصرة) و(فلسفة الرهان) و(فلسفة الزمن والتاريخ)، فإن مضمونه يقوم في إعادة بناء العراق إنطلاقاً من فكرة (فلسفة) تذليل مقدمات الخلل والفشل التاريخي الحديث والمعاصر فيه.
إنها فلسفة وعي الذات التاريخي الثقافي، وتأسيس كيفية الرجوع إلى النفس ونوعية بناءها بمعايير المستقبل في كافة مكونات الدولة والأمة الحديثة.
