في هذا الكتاب ترجمة مفردة مفيدة، لِعَلَم من الإعلام، وإمام من الأئمة الكرام، العبَّاد الزهَّاد، الذي نفع الله تعالى بهم العِباد والبلاد، ألا وهو: الإمام العلامة الشيخ "محيي الدين النووي" "ذو التصانيف المفيدة، والمؤلفات الحميدة، أوحدُ دهره، وفريد عصره، الصَوَّام القَوَّام، الزاهد في الدنيا، الراغب في الآخرة، صاحب الأخلاق الرضيَّة، والمحاسن السَّنِيَّة، العالم الربَّاني المتَّفق على علمه وإمامته وجلالته، وزهده وروعه وعبادته، وصيانته في أقواله وأفعاله وحالاته".
وقد كتب هذه الترجمة أحدُ العلماء المبرزين، المجتهدين الصالحين، وهو: كمال الدين، محمد بن شمس الدين محمد بن عبد الرحمن المصري، الشافعي، المعروف بإبن إمام الكاملية، المتوفى سنة أربعٍ وسبعين وثمانمائة.
