بين يديك أيها القارئ الكريم "فتاوى الإمام النووي"- عليه رحمة الله- وللإمام النووي مكانة خاصة في قلبي وعقلي؛ لأنني اراه من العلماء العاملين المخلصين الذين بذلوا حياتهم في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين.
وهذه "الفتاوى" غالباً ما يفتى فيها الإمام النووى علي قواعد المذهب الشافعين فلا تراه يعرج علي خلافات المذاهب الأخري إلا قليلاً، وإنما همه كله منصرف إلي تحرير الفروع، وتطبيقها علي الأصول المعتمدة عنده في مذهبه.
ولا يؤخذ عليه في فتاويه الفقهية إلا شيئاً واحداً، وهو عدم اكتراثه- غالباً- بمراعاة الأدلة الشرعية، وخلافات المذاهب الإسلامية، وإنما يقرر الجواب علي نصوص المذهب الشافعي وحسب!!
ولذلك عم الانتفاع بها في المذهب الشافعي، وتداولها الفقهاء الشافعية بينهم نقلاً ونسخاً وتدريساً، وهذا جيد بالنسبة إلي أهل مذهبه وحدهم. والناظر في هذه "الفتاوى" يجد الإمام النووى في غاية من الورع، وشدة البحث والتروى فيما يقول.
