Book Description
هو دعبل بن علي بن رزين بن عثمان بن عبد الله الخزاعي من مشاهير شعراء العصر العباسي، أصله من الكوفة، ويقال: من قرقيسيا وأقام ببغداد. كان شاعراً مجيداً، إلا أنه كان بذيَء اللسان مولعاً بالهجو والحط من أقدار الناس. وهجا بالخلفاء فمن دونهم، وله ديوان مشهور، وكتاب في طبقات الشعراء، وكان من مشاهير الشيعة، وقصيدته التأئية في أهل البيت من أحسن الشعر وأسنى المدائح، حيث اشتهر بتشيعه لآل علي وهجائه اللاذع للعباسين. وكانت ولادة دعبل في سنة ثمان وأربعين ومائة، وتوفي سنة ست وأربعين ومائتين بالطيب، وهي بلدة بين واسط العراق وكور الأهواز.
يبدأ الكتاب بمدخل عن حياة الشاعر وعصره ولونه الشعري والبلدات التي أقام فيها وما قال عنه الرواة كالذهبي ومالك بن أنس وابن يونس وياقوت الحموي وغيرهم. بعد ذلك يأتي (الديوان) موزعاً على بحو الشعر العربي الموزون والمقفى وفق الترتيب الألفبائي يبدأ بـ (الهمزة) وينتهي بـ (الياء) مع ذكر مناسبة كل قصيدة وزمانها وشرح ألفاظها. وينتهي الكتاب بـ: ما نسب إلى دعبل وإلى غيره، وهي قصائد مشتركة نسبت إلى الشاعر دعبل وإلى غيره من شعراء عصره أيضاً بحسب كل راوٍ. وأخيراً (ملحق) يضم: ترجمة دعبل من بعض كتب الأدب والتراجم مثل: كتاب الأغاني، كتاب "طبقات الشعراء"، كتاب "الشعر والشعراء"، وكتاب "وفيات الأعيان".
