تعتبر العقيدة الإسلامية الكبرى: الإيمان بالله تعالى ووحدانيته وعدالته ما يتفرغ عنها من عقائد أخرى: كالإيمان بالأنبياء والرسل، والإيمان بالإمامة، والكتب السماوية والملائكة واليوم الآخر... وغيرها القاعدة الأساسية للوجود والقيادة الفكرية للكون والحياة وتربية الإنسان، وتعتبر في نفس الوقت من أهم المشاكل المعقدة في تاريخ السيرة الإنسانية على مدى العصور المختلفة، فقد تعرض الإنسان إلى موجات عاصفة، جعلته بين جذب وطرد، ومدٍّ وجزر، بين الإيمان بالله تعالى وحده والشرك به، وجعل الآلهة المتعددة شركاء له في العبادة، تبعاً للقيادات السياسية الحاكمة، والجماعات المهيمنة. من هنا يأتي هذا الكتاب الذي يتناول المفاهيم الإيمانية والتربوية عند أهل البيت، ويتناول بالشرح والتحليل المفاهيم التربوية للتربية الإسلامية ثم الأساليب التربوية للتربية الإسلامية التي وضع معالمها هذا الدين العظيم لبناء الأجيال الإسلامية بناء سليماً. وقد مثل ذلك بالنسبة للمؤلف أطروحة جاءت ضمن أجزاء ثلاث: الجزء الأول: المفاهيم الإيمانية والتربوية عند مذهب أهل البيت؛ الجزء الثاني: الأساليب التربوية عند مذهب أهل البيت. والجزء الثالث: الأهداف التربوية عند مذهب أهل البيت وهذا الجزء الذي نقلب صفحاته هو المفاهيم الإيمانية والتربوية عند مذهب أهل البيت. وهو يبحث عن الأفكار والمفاهيم التربوية والقواعد الأساسية للتربية الإسلامية، وهذا يعني أن تكون العقيدة الإسلامية شاملة للكون والحياة والإنسان والمجتمع والتي تمثل بعناصرها الرئيسة وهي: الإيمان بالله تعالى، والإيمان بالأنبياء والرسل، والإيمان بالكتب السماوية، والإيمان بالملائكة والإيمان باليوم الآخر.
