"إلى أين، كيف؟ ما المصير؟ أسئلة طرقت عقله بقسوة" وهي تتراءى له أشياء مضطربة مشوشة. فحين يكون الموت متربصاً بشخص ما يكون حدثاً بلا معنى، هو كالعدم، الذي تغشاه الوحشية والغربة والوحدة. وهو في كل هذا لا يريد إلا أن يعيش " لا تعنيني كل الفلسفات الأخرى، ولكني أحاول أن أعيش اللحظات الباقية بكل تفاصيلها مهما كانت قصيرة).
ويبدو أن القصص تستمد حيويتها من الواقع الذي يرفد تجربة الكاتبة التي خصصت فسحة كبيرة من فنها لهموم وطنها وشعبها.
