الصفحات التالية هي بعض ما كتب حنا مقبل في بعض القضايا التي انخرط في الدفاع عنها، والأحداث التي عايشها وشارك فيها, وهي وإن كانت مجرد عينة صغيرة عن كتاباته الكثيرة التي غطت مساحة زمنية تزيد عن ربع قرن، إلا أنها تظهره كما كان دائماً رجل الموقف الذي كان دائماً مستعداً للشهادة...
وحنا في هذه الكتابات هو الكاتب الصحفي والمناضل السياسي والقائد النقابي، وهو نفسه في كل المواقع. من أين بدأت تجده مقاتلاً سلاحه الكلمة الجادة والصادقة والمعبرة عن موقف ملتزم بقضية شعبه وهموم أمته، لذلك ستجد مقالاته مثل تعليقاته مثل كلماته في المناسبات كالأواني المستطرقة تفضي إلى بعضها بعض ويجمعها قاسم مشترك واحد.
وبالرغم من أن الكتابة الصحفية تعاني عادة من نقطة ضعف كبيرة، وهي أنها بسبب انشدادها إلى الأحداث اليومية تبدو كتابة في اللحظة ولها... إلا أن الكاتب الصحفي صاحب الموقف يظل في كتاباته مشدوداً إلى جوهر تلك اللحظة الموصولة بأبعاد قضايا المجتمع أو الجماهير التي يكتب لها.
ومن يقرأ كتابات حنا مقبل اليوم، بعد كل السنوات التي مرت على كتابتها ومع التغيرات التي حدثت في منطقتنا والعالم، قد يفاجأ عندما يجدها أكثر راهنية من بعض ما تكتبه بعض الأقلام هذه الأيام. إذ الصفحات التالية هي بعض ما كتب في بعض القضايا، وهي أيضاً إطلالة على سيرة هذا الكاتب الصحفي، كما وهي أرشيف احتوى على بعض ما كتب عنه.
