ويحتوي الكتاب على ثمانية فصول، الفصل الأول يبحث في المجموعات، والثاني يبحث في العلاقات بجميع أنواعها، والفصل الثالث في الاقترانات، والرابع والخامس والسادس في المنطق الرياضي من حيث تعريف العبارة وجداول الصواب والانتماء والعبارات المتكافئة ونفي العبارة والعبارات المسورة كلياً وجزئياً ونفي كل منهما، أما الفصل السابع فيتحدث عن البناء الرياضي بمكوناته وخصائصه، أما الفصل الأخير فتحدث عن تعريف البرهان وطرائقه المختلفة.
ويتميز هذا الكتاب بالأمثلة الكثيرة المحلولة والأسئلة والاختبارات الموضوعية والمقالية التي وضعت نهاية كل فصل مع حلولها الكاملة في نهاية الكتاب كما أن لكل فصل ملخصاً في نهايته يستفيد منه القارئ بوقت يسير.
