- كتاب "صلاح الدين الأيوبي في الذاكرة السنية والشيعية" (فصل من كتاب "تذكُّر الحروب الصليبية" المنشور بمطابع جامعة جون هابكنز في واشنطن).
- تُرجمتْ أغلب أعماله إلى اللغة التركية، وطبعتها دار "معنى" في إسطنبول بين عامي 2006 و2012.
وقد نشر عشرات المقالات على موقع الجزيرة نت، وشارك في العديد من المؤتمرات العربية والدولية.

على قلة ما يصدر من كتب في بلاد العرب (ما يصدر في جميعها لا يتجاوز ما ينشر في بلد أوروبي صغير) فإن ما يقرأ منها قليل، وما هو جدير بالقراءة أقل.
ولست أرتاب في أن كتاب "الخلافات السياسية بين الصحابة" لمؤلفه الأستاذ "محمد بن المختار الشنقيطي" هو في الخط الأمامي منها، لقد كان من بين الكتابات القليلة التي وجدت في قراءتها متعة ظلت تشدني إلى إستئناف ومتابعة القراءة، كلما قطعتني مشاغل الحياة عنها.
هذا الكتيب الصغير في حجمه، الكبير في مدلولاته، يسد هذه الثغرة بحرصه على صرامة التحقيق الروائي، كحرصه على الإعتماد شبه الكامل على تناول مسائل الإختلاف بين الأصحاب من خلال تراث شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية وبالخصوص في موسوعته القيمة "منهاج السنة".
