مَهْمَا يَعْتَرِضْ مُعْتَرِضٌ، أَوْ يُجَادِلْ مُجَادِلٌ بِأَنَّ الْكِتَابَةَ فِي مَوْضُوعِ الْخِلَافَاتِ السِّيَاسِيَّةِ بَيْنَ الصَّحَابَةِ نَكْءٌ لِجِرَاحِ الْمَاضِي السَّحِيقِ، وَجَدَلٌ نَظَرِيٌّ فِي غَيْرِ طَائِلٍ، وَفَتْحٌ لِبَابِ التَّطَاوُلِ عَلَى الأَكَابِرِ، فَإِنَّ الأُمَّةَ لَنْ تَخْرُجَ مِنْ أَزْمَتِهَا التَّارِيخِيَّةِ إِلا إِذَا أَدْرَكَتْ كَيْفَ دَخَلَتْ إِل مَهْمَا يَعْتَرِضْ مُعْتَرِضٌ، أَوْ يُجَادِلْ مُجَادِلٌ بِأَنَّ الْكِتَابَةَ فِي مَوْضُوعِ الْخِلَافَاتِ السِّيَاسِيَّةِ بَيْنَ الصَّحَابَةِ نَكْءٌ لِجِرَاحِ الْمَاضِي السَّحِيقِ، وَجَدَلٌ نَظَرِيٌّ فِي غَيْرِ طَائِلٍ، وَفَتْحٌ لِبَابِ التَّطَاوُلِ عَلَى الأَكَابِرِ، فَإِنَّ الأُمَّةَ لَنْ تَخْرُجَ مِنْ أَزْمَتِهَا التَّارِيخِيَّةِ إِلا إِذَا أَدْرَكَتْ كَيْفَ دَخَلَتْ إِلَيْهَا.
لا أَحَدَ يَطْرَبُ بِالْحَدِيثِ عَنْ الاقْتِتَالِ الَّذِي نَشَبَ بَيْنَ الرَّعِيلِ الأَوَّلِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَلا أَحَدَ يَسْتَمْتِعُ بِنَكْءِ جِرَاحِ الأُمَّةِ، لَكِنَّ الطَّبِيبَ قَدْ يُوصِي بِالدَّوَاءِ الْـمُـرِّ، وَيَسْتَخْدِمُ مِبْضَعَهُ وَهُوَ كَارِهٌ. وَتِلْكَ أَحْيَانًا هِيَ الطَّرِيقَةُ الْوَحِيدَةُ لاسْتِئْصَالِ الدَّاءِ.
