وبعدُ، فأرجو أن أكون قدّمت للباحثين، مؤرّخي أدب ونقاداً، ولعشّاق الفنّ القصصيّ، ما يستكمل الجهد الجدير بالتقدير للأديب الراحل عادل أو شنب، أي كتابه: "صفحات مجهولة في تاريخ القصّة السورية"، وإن كان ثمة من يليق به أن أهديه ما صنعت، فلروح أسنادي د. حموية الذي تشرّفت بالتتلمذ له في السنة الثالثة من دراستي الجامعية، والذي كنت أحرص على متابعة محاضراته في الأدب العبّاسيّ على الرغم من أنني لم أكن متفرّغاً للدراسة.
أستاذي الذي لمّا تزل في الذاكرة، وستبقى، صورته وهو يقف أمامنا بقامته الممشوقة والناحلة ويحدّثنا عن أعلام الأدب في العصر العبّاسيّ، ويدرس إبداعهم على نحو باهر.
بينما سيكارة "الحمراء" القصيرة لا تفارق أصبعيه، ولمّا يزل في الذاكرة أيضاً.
وسيبقى، ذلك الفرح الذي كان ينسكب من تحت نظارتيه السميكتين وهو يجيب عن أسئلتي في ختام كلّ محاضرة، ثمّ كفّه الرؤوم وهو يربّت على كتفي عندما أهديته أوّل مجموعة قصصية صدرت لي.
