هذا هو الأثر الثاني من تراث الراغب الأصفهاني الذي أحققه وأنشره في الناس، رسالة "في تحقيق كلمتي الواحد والأحد" وشرح مدلولات كل منهما إذا أريد بالواحدة منهما الله تعالى أو أي شيء آخر، وفي إدراك الفروق في المعنى بين كل منهما في الاستعمال.
هذا هو الأثر الثاني من تراث الراغب، بعد أن حققت له مخطوطة كبيرة في المختارات الأدبية واللغوية تقارب كتابه المعروف "محاضرات الأدباء ومحاولات الشعراء والبلغاء" في الحجم والنوعية والقيمة العلمية، وأعني "مجمع البلاغة"، صدرت عام 1987 في مجلدين عن مكتبة الأقصى بعمان.
وكنت قد أزمعت تحقيق مخطوطة أخرى للراغب تدور حول "تحقيق البيان في تأويل القرآن"، ومضيت في ذلك شوطاًن حيث تبين لي أنها نسخة أخرى من أثر آخر له باسم "رسالة في الاعتقاد"، ولكنني أمسكت عن المضي في التحقيق حينما علمت أن طالباً في جامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة قد حقق هذه الرسالة، ولم يقع على نسخة أخرى لها، ونال عليها درجة علمية.
هذه الرسالة في الواحد والأحد صغيرة الحجم كبيرة الأثر والمدلول، فهي تتكفل بتوضيح الظلال اللغوية والعقدية لهاتين المفردتين الدالتين، مما لا يستغني عنه معجمي ولا مفسر ولا باحث في العربية، وهذا هو شأن الراغب، وديدنه في خدمة لغة القرآن، وكتاب الله العظيم وأدب العربية الخالد.
