سَاعَاتٌ مَوَاتِعُ قَضَيْتُها قِرَاءَةً وتَدَبُرَاً لِهذا السفر الرصين "في صحبة القرآن"، والذي صَنفه عالم من ذوي الأخطار في إختصاصه، راسخ القدم، عريق العرق في العلم بثقافة العربية وشواجر معارفها؛ ذلكم هو أخي الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد يوسف حفظه الله.
وهَمُك من مُصَنّفٍ اجتمع له خطر المركب، وجلالة الموضوع، وإشتباك السبل فإذا صاحبه يخوض لجته خياض العارف البصير، ويناسق بين مسائله مناسقة النقادة الخبير، وإذا أنت واجه في فصوله ومباحثه إيعاباً للمراد، ومنهاجاً للمشكل من الأمور، وسلامة لوجه التصنيف من ثآليل الأباطيل، ويزيد عجباً منه وإعجاباً به أن عامّةَ قضاياه هي مما تزاحم عليه الكتاب، وتشاكست فيه الأقلام؛ فحين تقع في الكتاب على عنوانات من مثل: "نظرية الإعجاز"، و"الصرفة"، و"نظرية النظم" و"يوسف وموسى".، ثم على أعلام كالجاحظ والرماني والجرجاني وابن قتيبة - فربما يُخيَل إليه أنك قادم على سلوك سبل ممهودة، وأنها موضوعات ما عاد للقول فيها مزيد لمستزيد، فأنت مضطر حيالها إلى مكابدة رجيع القول ومكرور الكلام، لكنك - وأينما مددت عينيك في تضاعيف - ترى من المؤلف إخلاف التوقع وتأخذه منه أواخذ الدهشة.
إنه يَبْدَهُكَ في ما يعالج من هذه المباحث بلُطْفِ المأخَذ، وبداعة الإستنباط، وفنون من التعديل والتبديل والعدول ينكشف بها الخبئ، وتَضِحُ منها مآلات ما كان مألوفاً أو معدوداً من أضغاث الأحاديث، فيعتدل الميزان وتستبين السبيل، وعليك حينئذ أن ترجع البصر كرتين في ما لك به سابقُ علم.
ولعمري لا يكون صحيح العلم إلا على ما وصفت لك، وسواء بعد ذلك على الناظر فيه أوافق أم نأى وأعراض بجانبه أم بَدَا له بَداءٌ، فإنه على كل حال عاكف على البينات والحجج بإعمال آليات العقل ليزورها اختباراً وإستباراً.
ولا يتكادؤك في القول إلا مثل هذه المصنفات بما اجتمع لها من تلكم الموائز العوالي، ولا ريب عندي ان هذا العمل الجامع بين الجمال والجلال سيكون لصاحبه إن شاء الله تعالى من الباقيات الصالحات التي هي عند الله عزّ وجلّ خير ثَوَاباً وخير أملاً.
