Book Description
هذه الأشعار نشرتها على مدى ثلاث سنوات، بشكل يومي (خمسة أيام في الأسبوع)، في صحيفة البلاد الصادرة في جدّة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، تحت اسم القلم "زمام". ومعظم أبياتها رباعية باللهجة الحجازية المحكية، أما القصائد فكانت لمناسبات مختلفة. وكان السبب وراء إخفاء شخصية الشاعر هو خشية اختلاط شعري الفصيح مع العامي، والخوف من تأثيرة عليه، نظراً لسطوة الشعر العامي الكبيرة في كل مكان هذه الأيام.
وقد تكوّن من جميع ما نشر أربعة دواوين هي: (ديوان وشم قديم) وهو يُعنى بالشأن الاجتماعي والسياسي والعالمي، و(ديوان وشم قديم) وهو خاص بالمدينة المنوّرة وذكرياتها، و(ديوان المحبوبة) وهو خاص بالمدينة المنورة وذكرياتها، و(ديوان الحُزَّيرات) وهو خاص بالألغاز أو ما يعرف بالفوازير، و(ديوان الوطنيات).
لقد كان اهتمامي بنشر هذه الأشعار من أجل الحفاظ على ما أمكن من المفردات الحجازية ولهجة نطقها من الاندثار، خاصة في المدن الثلاث الكبرى (مكة المكرّمة والمدينة المنوّرة وجدّة). فلقد غزت مجتمعها كثير من اللهجات والكلمات العربية والأجنبية، ما أضعف اللغة المحليّة المحكيّة لقلّة استخدامها، فجهل الجيل الجديد معانيها، وفقد الاحساس بجماليات مفرداتها، وهجرها مع أنها في عراقتها ذات جذور عربية فصيحة.
