عندما قال الفيلسوف الفرنسي برغسون "ما من أحد كالشاعر يحس بالزمان" لم يخطىء، إذ أنه ثيمة أساسية في أحداث أي نص شعري وسياقاته، وعلى نفس الدرجة يأتي الوقت، الذي يتعدى فيه علي الدميني الزمن الميقاتي ويكسر من خلاله حدود الزمن النفسي في جديده الشعري "خرزُ الوقت" وقد استطاع ببراعة الشاعر الحداثي أن يدلق فيه من تيار الوعي واللاوعي ما شاء معتمداً على اشارات ودلالات روحية وزمنية لها اتصال بعالمه الداخلي، محققاً بها بنيته النص الزماني الشعرية ومحلقاً بخياله في آفاق وجدانية تخدم النص وجدانياً وحسياً.
تحت عنوان "حرزُ" الوقت نقرأ:
"للوقت رائحة القطار / ورعشة المرآة لامرأة تزين صدرها بسحابةٍ عطشى / وأغصانٍ من الولع المعذب بالغناء / وللثواني / مثل رائحة الطفولة في الحقائب / رنةُ الأجراس في عنق الحصان / وصوت وثبته الأخيرة / للساعة الثكلى دبيبُ النمل في الخشب العتيق / وأنه المنسي قرب الباب / (...) الوقت مقبرة البكاء ، وحصة العشاقِ من لهب العناق (...)".
