من منا لا يذكر نهاية هذه المسرحية؟! ومن منا لا يذكر اسم هذه المسرحية واسم مؤلفها الكاتب المسرحي العملاق إن نحن سمعنا اسم بطلتها نورا؟! ومن من كتاب المسرح وممثليه الكبار لا يحفظ عن ظهر قلب الحوار/النقاش بين نورا وزوجها والذي يصل إلى الذروة بالفعل المسرحي: رفض نورا البقاء تحت سقف واحد مع زوجها. ألا نذكر دوي صفق باب الخروج؟! لقد دوى هذا الصوت، الذي اختتمت فيه هذه المسرحية، في أرجاء المسرح كما دوى في جميع أرجاء مسارح العالم الكبرى والصغرى، وانتقل هذا الدوي إلى أنحاء عديدة في مدن وقرى العالم. كما فاق هذا الدوي دوي المدافع، وفاقت قوته قوة القذائف. فقد حطم مرتكزات اجتماعية في مجتمعات العالم الغربي من أقصاه إلى أقصاه، وهدم جدران سجون نساء كن يعتبرنها بيوتاً تسترهن، كما هز كيان مفاهيم ظلت راسخة الجذور في تلك المجتمعات، فاجتثتها من أعماقها، ومن ثم قامت مرتكزات جديدة في تلك المجتمعات، وانتصب جدران بيوت جديدة لم تعد سجوناً للنساء، وعرسن مفاهيم جديدة أعمق جذوراً وأكثر إنصافاً للمرأة. إن هذه المسرحية ثورة لم تطلق رصاصة واحدة، ولا حتى رصاصة رحمة، ثورة أطلقتها ريشة كاتب عظيم، فانطلقت من على خشبة المسرح لتقتحم كل بيت وكل أسرة.
تنبع قوة هذه المسرحية لا من مضمونها الاجتماعي فقط، بل ن قوة بنائها الدرامي أيضاً وفنية حوارها الذي ينثال بساطة وعمق وصدق من أفواه شخصياتها المسرحية المرسومة رسماً طبيعياً وحياً. ولا عجب، فقد تعلم ابسن فنه من واقع المسرح والأدب الدرامي العالمي، واستفاد من قطبي كتاب المسرحية المحبوكة الفرنسيين: سكريب (1791-1861) وساردو (1981-1908)، وتأثر بمسرح الشاعر الألماني الكبير: فريديريك شيلر (1759-1805).
