جمعٌ لمروياتٍ جاءت عبر واحدة من سلاسل الأسانيد التي نُقلت إلينا بها الأحاديث، وهذه السلسلة ـ كسائر السلاسل ـ حلقات مترابطة بين عصر الصحابة رضي الله تعالى عنهم وعصر التدوين. وهي إحدى أهم طرق الروايات المنقولة عن أبي هريرة رضي الله تعالى عنه، وفيها بيانُ أن تدوين الحديث الشريف قد بدأ منذ العصر الأول ـ عصر الصحابة رضي الله تعالى عنهم. والمميَّز أنّ سند هذا الطريق همّام بن منبه ـ برواية معمر بن راشد ـ هو من أصحِّ أسانيد أبي هريرة رضي الله تعالى عنه؛ كما قال الإمامان محمد بن يحيى الذُّهلي والحاكم رحمهما الله تعالى، وقد بلغ عدد الأحاديث بهذا السند (157) حديثاً. وقد تقدّمت بين يدَي أحاديث هذه الروايات المجموعة تنبيهاتٌ في غاية الأهمية التقطها المؤلف من مصادرها، ورتّبها ترتيباً حسناً.
