لا زالت مكتبتنا العربية من مشرقها إلى مغربها تشكو من قلة المؤلفات العلمية بلغة عربية تساعد الطالب العربي على فهم وإدراك الأسس العلمية بصورة سليمة وصحيحة.
ولهذا كله ومن خلال تجربتي الطويلة في تدريس علم الكيمياء التحليلية وغيرها من فروع الكيمياء لمختلف المراحل الدراسية في الجامعات والمعاهد العليا، فقد أحسست بحاجة الطالب العربي بشكل عام إلى توفر المؤلفات العلمية بلغته (اللغة العربية)، وعليه فقد وجدت أنه من واجبي أن أشاطر زملائي المؤلفين والمترجمين الذين يهتمون بسياسة التعريب العلمي، أن أقدم جهداً بسيطاً ومتواضعاً بتأليف هذا الكتاب العلمي الذي يحمل عنوان "التحليل الآلي في الكيمياء التحليلي".
ولقد جاءت محتويات هذا الكتاب منسجمة مع مفردات مناهج الكيمياء التحليلية الآلية التي تدرس في أقسام الكيمياء لكليات العلوم والتربية والمعاهد العليا في معظم الأقطار العربية.
لقد تميز هذا الكتاب بشمولية المادة العلمية النظرية، مع التركيز على الجانب التجريبي من خلال استعراض العديد م التجارب المعملية المهمة. وبالرغم من احتواء هذا الكتاب على فصول محدودى (أربعة فصول) إلا أن محتوياتها غطت الكثير من احتياجات الطلبة في هذا المجال، حيث اعتمد فيها الأساس العلمي الرصين من خلال كتابته بلغة عربية فصحى سهلة في جملها وتعبيراتها، مستخدماً المصطلحات العلمية المتعارف عليها مزدوجة بترجماتها الإنكليزية وهذا ما يتناسب مع الطالب المبتدئ من فهم وإدراك للمادة العلمية. بالإضافة إلى أن هذا الكتاب يمكن الإفادة منه كمرجع علمي للمدرسين والدارسين والباحثين، ولقد تأكد أعزائنا الطلبة الحاجة الملحة لمثل هذا الكتاب لكي يكون مصدراً منهجياً لمراحلهم الدراسية المختلفة في كافة كليات التربية والعلوم والمعاهد العليا.
