يعتبَر هذا الكتابُ مجموعاً فقهيّاً لطيفاً في الفقه الحنفي، والذي يحمل في طياته بعض المسائل والرسائل التي خطّها مصنفها، والتي تبرز لنا مدى اطّلاعه، ورحب آفاقه، فَنَتَعَرّف من خلال هذا المجموع على بعض أسماء كتبه المؤلفة، وعلى بعض إقراءاته، كقوله: (وقد كنت أقرأت شرح الزيلعي في سنة إحدى وأربعين، ولي فيه تقريرٌ وتحريرٌ). كما يورد بعض أسماء شيوخه الذين أخذ بآرائهم، واستفاد منهم في بحثه، ومنهج فكره، كابن الهمام وغيره، فهو يقول: (شيخنا العلامة كمال الدين).
ونتعرف على نقولات فقهية ـ لم تكن ميسرة في أيدي الباحثين ـ تبرز شخصيته كفقيهٍ مجتهدٍ في أصول مذهبه، لا يتعدّاها إلاّ في القليل النّادر، وتنمّ عن إمكانات عُليا طَبَعَته بطابعها.
ونتعرف عليه كمؤرخٍ في نقله وفيات الأئمة الذين نُقِلَت عنهم الفتاوى، حيث أراد أن يبين السّابق من اللاحق.
وكمحدّثٍ وعالم في الجرح والتعديل في مراجعاته لطرق الحديث النبوي التي تعرض في الرسائل إذا كان المقام يقتضيها. وكشاعر له الموهبة الشعرية التي يحملها في جوانح عقله ولبه، المتناسبة مع ثقافته العامة، حيث ذكر بعض الأبيات.
فهرس الرسائل المذكورة في هذا الكتاب: 1. رفع الاشتباه عن مسائل المياه. 2. رسالة فيها أجوبة عن بعض مسائل وقعت. 3. أحكام الفأرة إذا وقعت في الزيت. 4. أحكام الصلاة على الجنازة في المسجد. 5. في التراويح والوتر. 6. الفوائد الجلّة في مسألة اشتباه القبلة. 7. أحكام القهقهة. 8. الأصل في بيان الفصل والوصل. 9. الأسوس في كيفية الجلوس بين السجدتين. 10. تحرير الأقوال في صوم الست من شوال. 11. رسالة في قضاء القاضي. 12. في العدّة. 13. في حطّ الثمن والإبراء منه وصحّة ذلك. 14. مسائل في الشيوع. 15. أحكام الشهادة والتزكية. 16. القول القائم في بيان تأثير حكم الحاكم. 17. ما ينقض من القضاء. 18. تحرير الأقوال في مسألة الاستبدال. 19. في الوقف واشتراط النظر للأرشد فالأرشد. 20. سؤالات وأجوبة عنها. 21. في طلاق المريض زوجته. 22. في حفر المربعات. 23. حكم الخلع وحكم الحنبلي فيه.
