شكَّلتْ المذكرات، الإنعكاسة الأولى، لدويّ الصخب والهدير المصاحبَيْن لمحطات العشق؛ نقلتُ فيها كثيراً من معاناة التلاقي والوصال، ممهورةً بالزمان والمكان اللذين جمعانا، وغنياً بنا.
ثم جاءت صحوةٌ أخرى، عمدتُ فيها إلى كتابة رسائل ومحاورات ذاتية، خاطبتُ فيها الحبيبة المحتجبة، أودعْتُها كلَّ ما تداعى في الذات، من مشاعر ورؤى، وتواشيح الخيال.
ولمّا ضاق بي المكان الذي نشأ فيه الحب وترعرع وأينعَ، ثم نضبتْ فيه الحياةُ قبل نضجه، انتَبذْتُ مصيف "حدث الجبّة" الواقع في سفح جبل الأرز، وأقمتُ فيه طوال شهور الصيف الأربعة لعام 2002، فوجدْتُني أمام طيف الحبيبة، بظلِّها وإرتدادات مثولها الخيالي، أُسطِّر لها ومن وحيها، يومياتِ رقيقة الحواشي، خافتة النبرة؛ فيها من المذكرات شيء، ومن الرسائل أشياء، ومن البوح الياسمينيّ، ما لا يسمعُ القلم إلاّ إرتشافه، وسكْبُ مُذابهِ على القرطاس.
فكانت عدسة القلم تُصوّر ما لا تراه العين المجرّدة، وتُسجل ما لا تسمعه الأذنُ، ويعيه الفكر؛ والحصيلة بيدرٌ عامر بجميل الغلال، ونجيع الوصال الذي اتّسعت دائرته لتشملَ مجامر اتّقدت من بعيد، ومنائر أُطفئتْ أنوارها.
