في هذا الكتيب رسالة نفيسة من رسائل العلامة "علي القاري" جمع فيها الأحاديث الشريفة، وأقوال فقهاء الحنفية، من صلاة الاستسقاء. فلأهميتها عني "مشهور حسن سلمان" بتحقيقها معتمداً في عمله على نسخة خطية ضمن مجموع للمصنف، فيه له ست وخمسون رسالة، ورسالتنا هذه الرسالة الخامسة والثلاثون من هذا المجموع الموجود في المكتبة الأحمدية بمدينة حلب، ويقع في خمس لوحات.
أما عمله في التحقيق فتجلى بـ: أولاً: نسخ المخطوطة، وضبط نصها، وتقسيمها إلى فقرات توضح أفكار الرسالة ومضمونها، وما احتوت عليه. ثانياً: تخريج الأحاديث الواردة فيها من مصادرها الأصلية، ذاكراً أقوال أهل العلم في درجتها، أو معتمداً على قواعد علماء المصطلح في ذلك. ثالثاً: التعليق على ما رآه ضرورياً مستدركاً على المصنف بإيجاز في بعض الفروع الفقهية التي اعتمد فيها مذهب الحنفية وهي وضع المصلي يديه تحت السرة من الصلاة، ترك رفع اليدين عند الركوع والرفع منه، تكرير خطبة العيدين. وأشار كذلك إلى مسألة "جهر الإمام بالتسبيح عقب الصلوات المفروضات بإيجاز، مبيناً الغريب الواقع فيها.
