حكاية مريم الطبيبة النفسية المغتربة التي تقرر العودة إلى وطنها بعد سنوات من الغربة لأسباب عائلية بسبب زوج والدتها ، وفي الطرف الآخر من الحياة رؤوم التي كبرت في يوم وليلة وسط نزاعات وانفصال أبويها ، فتقرر أن تبني لنفسها حياة منفصلة و عالم خاص بها فقط ، ولكن سرعان ما يقتحم هذا العالم شاب يدعى فيتاليس الفاقد للذاكرة الذي تجده في عربة والدها يختبئ من أشخاص لا يعرفهم فهو استيقظ ووجد نفسه في منزلهم ، لتدخله الى البيت سراً وتبدأ مغامراتهم سوياً ، ليرحل ذات يوم ويبحث عن عائلته ، يترك رؤوم دون أي وسيلة اتصال و في أثناء ذلك تسوء الأوضاع أكثر بين والديها وتنقلب حياتها رأساً على عقب.
