تفسير النور كتاب في تفسير القرآن الكريم لا يدخل مؤلفه الشيخ "محسن قراءاتي" فيه إلى التفسير على طريقة سائر الكتب التي تذكر الآية ثم تدخل في النقاشات العلمية واللغوية المرتبطة بها، بل يعمل بطريقة جديدة تقف عند منطوق نصوص الآيات وروايات أهل البيت مع الاحتراز من التفسير بالرأي؛ واستلهام معظم التعاليم المستفادة من الآيات والتعاليم التي تدلّ عليها من النصوص التفسيرية المعتبرة لدى الفريقين؛ تلك التي تحمل في طياتها رسائل نظرية أو عملية ينبغي على قارئ القرآن أن يقف عندها ملياً كلّما مرّ على القرآن قراءة أو تدبراً.
أما عن منهج العمل، فقد تمّ للمؤلف اختيار (ح 1) تفسيراً مرموقاً لمفسرين شيعة وسنة، متقدمين ومتأخرين، صاغها المؤلف في ضوء التطلعات الدينية للمجتمع المسلم. وهي مجموعة من الرسائل القرآنية العامة التي تتناسب وتطلعات الجيل الجديد وهو ما عرضه المؤلف تحت عنواني الإشارات والتعاليم بأسلوب مبسط خالٍ من التعقيد.
وبناءً على ما تقدم تضمن "تفسير النور" عشرة أجزاء تمّ تفسير سور القرآن الكريم بأجزائها الثلاثون من سورة الفاتحة وانتهاءً بآخر آي وردة في الذكر الحكيم.
