خلال العمل التبليغي، ونتيجة للاحتكاك بالناس كثيراً، حسبما تفترض وظيفة العالم الديني... فقد كان طبيعياً أن توجه للعلماء الأعلام بعض الأسئلة الشرعية المتنوعة والمتعددة، وحيث أن كثيراً من هذه الاستفتاءات كانت مستجدة بسبب التطور الذي يشهده العالم على الكثير من الأصعدة (في قضايا تتصل بالانترنت، والسنترالات الهاتفية، والستلايت، مضافأً لرتق غشاء البكارة، وزراعة الخصية، وزراعة المبيض، وفيما يتعلق بتبادل البويضات والحيوانات المنوية، والتلقيح...).
