وبناءاً على التكليف من جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية في إعداد وتطوير الخطط الدراسية في قسم المختبرات الطبية وسعياً مني إلى إغناء المكتبة العربية العلمية برافد علمي ينهل منه الطالب بيسر وسهولة والمهتمين بهذا الحقل من العلوم قمت بإعداد هذا الكتاب على ضوء خبرتي في تدريس هذا المقرر في الجامعات، والذي يغطي كافة الجوانب الأساسية في المناعة وعلم الأمصال.
وقد قسمت الكتاب إلى أربعة أبواب تتضمن: الباب الأول: "تركيب ووظائف الجهاز المناعي"، الباب الثاني: "أمراض الجهاز المناعي"، الباب الثالث: "المناعة الناتجة عن الإصابة بالإحياء الدقيقة"، الباب الرابع: "التفاعلات المصلية".
التي تساعد الطالب في فهم المعلومات وتسلسلها وربطها في الجانب النظري والعملي وإني على أتم الإستعداد لتقبل أي إقتراح أو نقد بناء لتطوير وتحسين مفردات الكتاب وأملي أكون قد وفقت في عملي هذا والله من وراء القصد.
