قد تزامن ظهور الأنبياء والرسول مع ظهور أقدم الحضارات القديمة في العالم متمثلتاً بحضارتي وادي الرافدين ووادي النيل، إذ نشأتا معاصرتين تقريباً وبدأت أسس الحضارة فيهما تتكامل قبل أواخر الألف الرابع ق. م. أي حوالي 3200 ق. م.
فنبي الله إبراهيم عليه السلام، بعثه الله تعالى خلال النصف الأولى من الألف الثاني ق. م. إلى حضارة وادي الرافدين، لاحظ الشكل (1)، فنادى بوحدانية الله تعالى وواجه جباراً كان ببابل تشير التفاسير أنه نمرود بن كنعان بالحجج والبراهين، وهذا ما دله عليه قوله تعالى: ﴿ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِي حَاجَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي رَبِّهِ أَنْ آَتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّيَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا أُحْيِي وَأُمِيتُ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْتِي بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ (258)﴾.
لقد أراد الكاتب من هذه الدراسة أن تفهم بنية الكون والأرض من خلال رؤية قرآنية علمية تنطق من الأرض وتصل إلى أبعد نقطة في الفضاء.
