لن تجدن أحداً أوصى بصحبتكن مثلما أوصى بها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقد قدمها على صحبة الزوجة، والولد، والأب، والأخ، والصديق... على أي صحبة كانت، ولم يقدمها صلى الله عليه وسلم مرة واحدة.. لقد قدمها ثلاث مرات، حين سأله أحد الصحابة رضوان الله عنهم: من أحق بحسن صحابتي يا رسول الله؟ فيجيبه الرحمة المهداة من الله إلى العالمين: "أمك". ويعاود السؤال: ثم من؟ وتأتي الأم مرة ثانية: "أمك"، والثالثة: ثم من؟ ويؤكد من لا ينطق عن الهوى: "أمك".
من في الدنيا كلها جعل المراتب الثلاثة الأولى للأم؟ أيها الأخوات! وأيها الإخوان، ليتكم تمدون أيديكم الآن إلى أجهزة الهاتف، وتجرون مكالمة هاتفية مع أمهاتكم، أو تتناولون القلو لتكتبوا إليهم رسالة. وإذا كنتم تعيشون معها في بيت واحد، فأرجوكم أن تتوجهزا إليها وتقبلوا يديها. وإذا كانت أمك، أخي الكريم، قد رحلت عن هذه الدنيا، كما أمي، فأرفعي يديك إلى السماء وادعي لها بالرحمة والمغفرة.
