ونشير بالذات إلى إستخدامات التحويلات ثنائية الخطية الكسرية، وعلى وجه الخصوص تلك المتوافقة منها ودورها في رسم المناطق والمنحنيات، ومن ثم تحويل مسألة معقدة التركيب إلى مسألة في منطقة بسيطة يسهل التعامل معها والحصول على الحل المطلوب، وبذلك فإن التحليل المركب بطبيعته يقرب من مجال الرياضيات التطبيقية أكثر من كونه مجالاً رياضياً بحتاً.
وللأهمية المذكورة وغيرها للتحليل المركب جاءت فكرة إعداد هذا الكتاب، وهو تجميع لمحاضرات قمت بإعدادها لطلاب الرياضيات والفيزياء على المستوى الجامعي وعلى المستوى الدراسات العليا، وحيث وسمناه بطابع خاص وقمنا بإضافات كثيرة هنا وهناك.
وعلى وجه الخصوص ركزنا على إستخدامات التحليل المركب في حل مسائل صعبة في الفيزياء نادراً ما يجتنبها الدكتور.
