يحتوي هذا الكتاب القيم على سبعة رسائل لها وزنها وشهرتها في علوم العقائد عند دارسيها وطالبيها، ثلاثة منها هي شروح قدمها علماء أكابر على متون للإمام الأكبر "أبو حنيفة" وهي شرح الفقه الأكبر لأبي منصور الماتريدي، وشرح الفقير الأكبر لأبي المنتهى أحمد بن محمد المغنيساوي، ثم الجوهرة المنيفة في شرح وصية الإمام الأعظم أبي حذيفة التي صنفها "الملا حسين بن إسكندر الحنفي".
هذا عن الرسائل الثلاثة الأولى، أما الرابعة فقد كانت كتاب الإبانة الذي صنفه "أبو الحسن الأشعري البصري" رحمه الله، وقد لحق بها الرسالة الخامسة والسادسة وهي ملاحق كان قد وضعها السيد "محمد عنايت على حيدر آبادي" على ذات الكتاب "كتاب الإبانة"، وأخيرًا الرسالة السابعة وهي "رسالة في الذب عن أبي الحسين الأشعري" وضعها "أبو القاسم عبد الملك بن درباس" وقد ذيل الكتاب رسالة ذم التأويل للإمام شيخ الإسلام "موفق الدين أبي عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد بن قدامة المقدسي".
