إن السنة الشريفة هي عدل القرآن الكريم والمصدر الثاني للتشريع، قال تعالى: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ﴿وَأَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴾ [النحل: 44].
لم ينفك أعداء الإسلام من محاربته بشتى الطرق والمجالات، العسكرية والفكرية والعلمية، وبث الشبهات حوله، وبما أن السنة الشريفة هي عمد من أعمدة الإسلام، لذا فهي معرضه لمحاولات الدس والتحريف بها والإفتراء على الله تعالى ورسوله من خلال بعض الأحاديث المختلقة والشبهات المنحرفة، لأسباب عديدة منها الأسباب السياسية والدينية والمادية، وقد طالت الشبهات والإنحرافات بعض العقائد، وأُسست مذاهب وانحرفت عن الإسلام المحمدي الأصيل، والعقيدة هي أساس حياة الأفراد وعلى أساس العقيدة خُلقت أُمم وهدمت أُمم، فهل يشمل أثرها أن تكون مؤثرة على أحوال الرواة أم لا؟.
وهذا ما يحاول البحث بيانه ومعرفته من خلال هذه الرسالة الموسومة (أحوال الرواة بين الموروث العقائدي والوصف الرجالي).
وتأتي أهمية البحث لمعرفة مدى تقبل مذاهب المسلمين لسماع رواية الآخر المخالف لهم بالعقيدة وهل أن للعقيدة أثر في الحديث وهل أن علماء الحديث ورواته كانوا موضوعين وإن كانوا كذلك فما مدى تأثير ذلك.
وبناء عليه فقد هدف الكتاب إلى جملة من أمور، من أهمها محاولة إثراء المكتبة العلمية بمساهمة لعلها تنفع أو تبدأ مسيرة علمية أو تُكمل أخرى، وكذلك محاولة معرفة مدى موضوعية علماء الحديث حين قسموا مصطلحاته، وأثر الموضوعية وغيابها على حاضرنا، وكذلك أثر العقيدة على التقييمات الرجالية.
