يحتوي هذا الكتاب على باقة عطرة من الصلوات على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وعلى آله، ممثلة في: "فتوح الجوارح" للإمام الختم الشيخ محمد بن عبد الكبير الكتاني، المستشهد عام 1327. "وسيلة الولد الملهوف إلى جده الرحيم العطوف" لخاتمة الحفاظ الشيخ عبد الحي بن عبد الكبير الكتاني المتوفى 1382. "إغاثة القلب اللاهي بالصلاة على أكرم رسل الله" لعبد ربه محمد حمزة ابن علي بن المنتصر الكتاني.
وهي مؤلفات كتبها أصحابها، قاصدين منها الإبداع في الثناء على الجناب المحمدي، وتسخير مختلف العلوم والمعارف لإبراز مخدرات الشمائل المحمدية، داخل قوالب الصلاة عليه صلى الله عليه وسلم، ليسهل على القارئ والمحب في الجناب النبوي العظيم ذكره والثناء عليه، والتقرب إليه بالصلاة عليه بأحب الخصال، ولذلك قال الإمام الختم الأكبر أبو الفيض محمد بن عبد الكبير الكتاني رضي الله عنه في بعض رسائله، بأن المصلي عليه صلى الله عليه وسلم، خاصة بالصلوات الكتانية، يحبه عليه السلام بجميع ذاته.
