إنه أدب صادر عن القلب، مفعم بالصدق واليقين والخلاص. وهو سلاح بتار وحاسم في المواجهة مع أعداء الإسلام. ذلك هو الأدب الإسلامي، وشعر القرضاوي من ذلك الأدب. ولم يحظ شعر الدكتور القرضاوي بأية دراسة في حتى هذا الكتاب، لا في كتاب ولا بحث، إلا من دراسة موجزة في مقدمة ديوان (نفحات ولفحات). وربما كان ذلك: بسبب عدم جمع شعره إلا متأخرًا، ولا سيما الديوان الثاني (المسلمون قادمون)، كما أن شهرته في الدعوة طغت على شهرته في الشعر.
