الحلاج هذا اللقب الدامي لأبي المغيث الحسين بن منصور الذي تمخض عن مأساة انسانية اشتبكت في خيوطها الأبعاد الاجتماعية والثقافية والسياسية والدينية للحضارة العربية الإسلامية في بغداد في العقد الأول من القرن الرابع الهجري، وكانت آنذاك ملتقى ثقافات العالم وحضاراته.
هذا الحلاج استقطب على مر العصور أقلام الكتاب مفكرين ومبدعين، فكان محل دراسات معمّقة ومصدر إلهام لا ينضب، أغنى المكتبة العربية بانجازات باهرة، مدارها الحلاج في حياته ونصوصه... وها هو ذا يستقطب الشاعر عبد القادر الحصني ليضع شرحاً لديوانه، فماذا في هذا الشرح؟
في هذا الشرح معالجة نقدية شعرية صوفية، احتشدت بأنظار خاصة في اللغة والمعنى وما وراء المعنى، ما كان لها أن تحتشد على هذا النحو، وما كان لها أن تستخلص ما استخلصت لولا ثقافية صوفية واسعة، نمّت عليها وفرة المراجع التي استنفرها الحصني لوضع هذا الشرح، ولولا ذائقة خاصة، صقلتها التجربة الصوفية.
واللافت في هذا الشرح أن الحصني لا يدعوك الى قراءته بوصفك متلقياً فحسب، بل يدعوك مشاركاً بما يفتح من رؤى إشكالية في أثناء معالجته لنصوص هذا الديوان.
